The accolades continue for one of our start-ups SafeToNet in this BBC Click feature. See CEO Richard Pursey explain the use of AI to keep children safe online.
In the programme the presenter notes that by using AI, SafeToNet “tracks the behavioural changes so that they can pre-empt any bullying before it actually happens”. The brilliance of the technology is that it allows parents to let their children roam the net freely and not spy on them, but if any malicious activity is detected, parents are alerted before their child sees it.
Richard delves deeper into the workings of the AI in how it can pick up self-confidence issues in children, for example by monitoring the number of selfies they have posted.
